Our Review

When I first came upon this software, I was intrigued. Could this actually help with all of the planning details and make things a little easier??

What I discovered was that this program definitely delivered - making wedding planning actually seem downright fun as I went through the different stages!

Here are some of the features that I particularly liked:

Guest List Manager

• Ability to enter guest details manually or import them from another file (Excel csv file, text files, etc.)
• Sort by Guest's first name, last name or other criteria
• Can maintain an "A" and a "B" list, for keeping track of those guests that you may or may not invite based on budget, etc.
• Enter additional guest information such as whether the guests have children and how many
• Easily see who's on the A list or B list (or the combined list) and print out anytime
• View statistical data and graphs on what percentage of the guests are from the bride's side, the groom's side, or how many are friends, coworkers, etc. - since I am so visually-oriented and like to see data in graph format, I loved this handy little feature :)
• Also separate guests into different groups according to which wedding events they are invited to - the bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, etc. - a HUGE organizational help!!

Task List Manager

• Keep track of every single little thing you have to do before the wedding, assign a due date, and even assign the task to a particular person
• If the task becomes overdue, the software will alert you in the "Overdue" column

Scheduler

• Make a schedule for the big day, the day before or anything else that needs some time management help
• Record every event by time, location and vendor (the software will put it all in order and make a neat schedule for you to print out) and then distribute the schedule as appropriate to your wedding party and vendors

Budget

• Just enter the total amount of money you want to spend on the wedding and the software will automatically give you a sample budget based on that amount - quickly see how much you should anticipate spending on the dress, the entertainment, etc.
• With this starter budget, start modifying it according to your own needs and priorities, and go from there - each category can get as detailed as you want, right down to the cent
• Keep track of balances due to vendors as well as money already paid and who paid for what (bride's family, groom's family, etc.)

Seating Chart Manager

• Easily assemble each table seating assignment working from your guest list
• Software will show you how many seats are still left to fill at each table
• Move guests around from table to table as the guest list changes
• Print out a final seating chart to give to your calligrapher, catering manager, etc.

Envelopes, Labels, Place Cards, oh my!

• Save money and print out your own inner or outer envelopes, table place cards or address labels
• Guest names and addresses will be taken directly from your guest list - no need to enter anything twice
• Great time-saver for printing envelopes for the bridal shower or thank you cards

All in all, this relatively inexpensive piece of software truly is a complete solution for pulling together all of that data that goes into pulling off a successful, organized wedding. Very highly recommended.
